Underground HV Electricians

We are currently seeking well experienced underground HV electricians for an immediate start. This job will entail filling various roles, and therefore the applicant must have developmental experience. The purpose of each role is to support the achievement of safety and production targets by providing high quality and timely services. The opportunity for the right candidates is to transition into a permanent role with a global company.

To be eligible for this role you must have the following:

  • Minimum 12 months underground coal mining experience
  • Queensland Coal Board Medical (Underground)
  • Current Standard 11 (Underground)
  • Trade Certificate 3
  • Electrical License
  • LVR CPR (within 12 months)
  • EEHA: Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas Certificate (within 5 years)
  • HV: High Voltage/Switching (dependent on site requirements)
  • Valid Driver’s License
